The Escuela Nacional de Arte west of Havana, Cuba on a former golf course is a campus of art schools established by Fidel Castro and Che Guevara in 1961. The architects for these spaces are Ricardo Porro, Roberto Gottardi and Vittorio Garatti. Shown here are the schools of Ballet and Music by Vittorio Garatti.
John Loomis has written about this project in his book Revolution of Forms - Cuba's Forgotten Art Schools and the schools are featured in the documentary film Unfinished Spaces by Alysa Nahmias and Ben Murray.
