The White City of Tel Aviv is a UNESCO world cultural heritage district defined by its collection of Bauhaus style architecture. Having fled Germany in 1933 with the rise of the Nazis and the subsequent closing of the school, many of the Jewish architects relocated here to continue their craft. The district remains as a vital part of this evolving city.
